This easy, absorbing exercise is a hands-on method to study in regards to the completely different flags of the world and could be was a vibrant science investigation. The thought is that washable felt tip pens are used to attract a flag on one half of a kitchen towel ( kitchen roll ) sheet. The kitchen towel is then folded in half so the colors can’t be seen till the kitchen towel is positioned in water. When the towel will get moist, the ink dissolves into the water and is absorbed by the kitchen towel’s prime layer, revealing the flag’s colors!
We used the concept behind this exercise to study flags for Euro 2024, however any drawing will work.
You will want
Washable felt tip pens
Kitchen towel/kitchen roll
A plate or shallow tray.
Water
Directions
Fold one sheet of kitchen towel in half. Resolve which flag to attract.
Use a sharpie to attract the define on the entrance fold of the kitchen towel.
Open up the kitchen towel and color the flag on the within.
Fold the kitchen towel once more so the black define is on the entrance.
Pour a small quantity of water onto a plate or tray.
Fastidiously place the folded kitchen towel into the water and watch the colors rise to the highest, colouring within the flag define.
